Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Lento, which is run by Trevor James [legal business name and address to be confirmed]. By creating an account or buying anything, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Lento.

1. Who can use Lento

You must be 18 or older. Lento is for adults, and we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will close it.

2. What Lento is, and what it is not

Lento is an educational program about calm and presence in intimacy. It is not therapy, medical care, or a substitute for either. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and we cannot promise any particular result. If something physical is worrying you, or difficulties persist or started suddenly, please see a doctor or a qualified professional. If you are in distress, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

3. Your account

You sign in with a link we email you, so there is no password. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can open the link can open your Lento account. Please give us a real email address that you control. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. What you can buy

The first three days are free.

The full program is a one-time payment, currently $49. It unlocks all 28 days and the tools for as long as Lento is offered. It is not a subscription, and there is nothing to renew. If we ever stop offering Lento, we will give you reasonable notice [lawyer to confirm wording and what happens to purchases].

Lento Circle is an optional membership for people who have finished the program, currently $19 a month or $149 a year. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the Account tab, and your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling stops future charges.

The program and Lento Circle are separate. Cancelling Circle does not remove your program access, and a refund of one does not change the other.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices may change in the future, but a change will not affect a payment you have already made, and we will tell you before a changed price applies to a membership renewal.

5. Refunds

Our Refund Policy explains how refunds work, including the 14-day refund. It is part of these terms.

6. How you may use Lento

Lento is for your own personal use. You may not share your account, copy or resell the lessons, audio, or other content, publish them, or use them to build a competing product. Please do not try to get around the sign-in or payment steps, interfere with the service, or use Lento in any way that is unlawful or harms others.

7. Our content

We own, or have the right to use, the lessons, audio, design, and name Lento. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own practice while you have access. Everything else stays with us.

Your check-ins, moods, and notes are saved on your own device and we cannot read them. They are yours.

8. Privacy

How we handle your information is described in our Privacy page.

9. If something goes wrong

We work to keep Lento available and accurate, but we provide it as it is, without promises that it will always be uninterrupted or error free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total responsibility to you for anything connected to Lento is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose [lawyer to confirm]. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that cannot be limited, including consumer rights where you live.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using Lento at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and if we do so for a reason other than a breach, we will refund any unused part of what you paid for a period you will not receive.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change matters, we will let you know by email or in the app before it applies. Using Lento after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state or country to be confirmed by a lawyer], and disputes will be handled in the courts there, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
